Stake Casino Review

What changes between seeing a crypto balance and receiving a withdrawal? This Stake casino review follows the verification steps, network choices and fees behind that question. It also separates Stake.com from the former British service. The international site’s terms exclude the UK, while its regulator entry needs more careful reading than a simple licensed badge suggests.

Public sources checked

Stake

The key finding: Stake.com is not available to UK users under its published terms. Its international crypto service should not be confused with the former Stake.uk.com operation.

Who operates Stake.com?

Stake’s licensing page identifies Medium Rare N.V. as the operator of Stake.com and gives the Curaçao reference OGL/2024/1451/0918. That is the entity and domain covered here. Other country-specific Stake services have their own arrangements, so their permissions and payment methods should not be transferred to this review.

The CGA register dated 5 November 2026 lists Medium Rare N.V. with the status “Assessment in progress” and 9 June 2026 in its expiry column. Those fields do not, on their own, settle present authorisation. We report them rather than describe the licence as valid or revoked. The regulator warns that its overviews do not guarantee current validity.

Why the former British site matters

In February 2025, the Gambling Commission announced the closure of Stake.uk.com, which had operated through TGP Europe. The notice set 11 March 2025 as the final shutdown date. Familiar branding or an old review of that service is therefore not evidence that the international site accepts British accounts today.

Stake.com’s current terms, clause 14.3, include the United Kingdom among prohibited jurisdictions. The restrictions also cover people physically present in a prohibited location. Do not use a VPN or inaccurate account details to bypass them.

How crypto deposits and withdrawals work

The deposit guide says the email address and account must be verified before depositing. It describes crypto transfers into the wallet and separately identifies MoonPay as a way to purchase cryptocurrency. Buying crypto through a third party is not the same transaction as withdrawing casino funds back to a bank card.

Stake’s withdrawal instructions require a verified email and a choice of currency, network, destination and amount. An authentication step follows. Someone who registered through a social sign-in may also need OAuth re-verification. That confirms access to the sign-in account; it does not replace identity checks.

Separate the account check from the transfer
Stage Published requirement What it means
Before depositing Email and account verification A crypto wallet does not remove account checks.
Withdrawal request Currency, network and destination selection The receiving wallet must support the chosen transfer route.
Amount and cost Currency-specific minimum and fee A small balance and a larger balance can face very different proportional costs.

The withdrawal limits article publishes different minimums and fees by cryptocurrency and directs users to the wallet for the applicable figures. There is no single useful minimum in pounds for every route. An amount quoted in a coin also changes in sterling value as the exchange rate changes.

A confirmed transfer and an approved withdrawal are different milestones. We have not measured either, so this review does not label payouts instant. The terms allow payment restrictions while identity checks remain unresolved. That limitation matters more than a general claim about blockchain speed.

Original games and promotional balances

The public Stake Originals catalogue includes Mines, Dice, Plinko and Crash alongside versions of blackjack and roulette. This gives the service a recognisable in-house game range. A catalogue listing establishes the advertised product, however, not access from every country or the fairness of a round that we have not tested.

Different game formats also create different decisions. Choosing a cash-out moment in Crash is unlike waiting for a roulette result, but neither removes the chance of losing a stake. A large catalogue or a familiar interface is not evidence that an account is appropriate for a particular reader.

The bonus provisions in the general terms defer to each promotion’s own rules and say cash balances are used before bonus balances. We have not verified a universally available welcome package, so no headline reward is quoted here. The order of balance use matters because accepting a promotion can change the conditions attached to subsequent play.

Account controls and complaints

Stake’s self-exclusion policy allows support contact during exclusion but excludes eligibility for bonuses and reloads. An indefinite exclusion has a minimum six-month period and is not automatically lifted. If the account tools cannot be used, the policy directs the customer to chat or email for assistance.

The complaints policy sets a six-month window from the incident for submitting a complaint. It describes acknowledgement within one week and a written response within four weeks, with one possible extension of up to four weeks. These are the operator’s published commitments, not response times measured by us.

After a final internal decision, an unresolved dispute may be referred to CADRE under its eligibility rules. Keep the complaint reference, transaction identifiers and written decision together. The useful distinction is between asking support a question and recording a formal dispute that can progress through the stated process.

Our assessment

Stake provides public documentation for crypto payments, original games and complaint escalation. Its main limitation for this site’s audience is decisive, though: the international service excludes UK access. Its register status also needs qualification. We would not turn either issue into a small footnote beneath a sign-up button.

This is a review of documents, not a funded account test or a guarantee about withdrawals. For a different contractual issue, the Roobet review examines wagering requirements on ordinary deposits. Return to all casino reviews for the side-by-side overview.

FAQ

Is Stake.com the old British Stake website?

No. This review covers the international Stake.com service. The Gambling Commission announced the shutdown of the separately operated Stake.uk.com service in 2025.

Does a crypto withdrawal avoid identity checks?

No. Crypto payment instructions and identity verification are separate requirements. Stake’s terms permit withdrawal restrictions while identity remains unresolved.

Can a published game list prove that I can play?

No. A game catalogue describes products. Account and location restrictions still determine whether the service can be used.
